The Journey to Bethlehem begins in the Garden of Eden. Before sin entered the world, humanity enjoyed unhindered communion with God, but the result of Adam and Eve’s sin was disastrous for the whole human race. When sin entered the world, our relationship with God was severed, leaving humanity lost and without hope. But God’s plan of redemption was still intact. God sovereignly steered history to bring about the salvation of many through his only begotten Son. The Journey to Bethlehem is necessary to recognize the hope of salvation that God provides for sinful humanity.
